Unlocking an iPhone without a password involves several methods, but they generally require you to erase your iPhone, which will delete all data. Here are the main methods:

1. Using Find My iPhone

If you have Find My iPhone enabled, you can erase your iPhone remotely:

  1. Go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
  2. Click on "Find iPhone."
  3. Select your iPhone from the "All Devices" menu.
  4. Click "Erase iPhone." This will erase your iPhone and its passcode.

2. Using iTunes or Finder

If you've previously synced your iPhone with iTunes or Finder, you can use this method:

  1. Connect your iPhone to the computer you synced with.
  2. Open iTunes (or Finder on macOS Catalina and later) and select your device.
  3. Click on "Restore iPhone." This will erase your device and its passcode.

3. Using Recovery Mode

If you've never synced your iPhone with iTunes or Find My iPhone isn't enabled, you'll need to use Recovery Mode:

  1. Connect your iPhone to a computer and open iTunes or Finder.
  2. Put your iPhone into Recovery Mode:
    • iPhone 8 and later: Press and release the Volume Up button, press and release the Volume Down button, then press and hold the Side button until the recovery mode screen appears.
    • iPhone 7 and 7 Plus: Press and hold the Side and Volume Down buttons at the same time until the recovery mode screen appears.
    • iPhone 6s and earlier: Press and hold the Home and Top (or Side) buttons at the same time until the recovery mode screen appears.
  3. When the option to restore or update appears, choose "Restore." This will erase your device and its passcode.

4. Contact Apple Support

If none of the above methods work, contacting Apple Support for assistance is the last resort. They may be able to help you unlock your iPhone, but you will need to provide proof of ownership.

Important Note

These methods will erase all the data on your iPhone. If you have a backup, you can restore your data after unlocking your device.
